Policies

 

Booking, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

At Cowabunga Camp & Lounge, every reservation is made specifically for you. Because our experiences involve limited-capacity events, farm scheduling, staffing, animal care coordination, and advance preparation, we ask all guests to carefully review our policies before booking.

By purchasing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to the policies below.

Reservation Policy

All reservations must be booked in advance through our website. Availability is limited, and many experiences sell out.

Your reservation secures a specific date, time, and number of guests. Once booked, that space is reserved exclusively for your party.

Refund Policy

All purchases are final.

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Schedule conflicts
  • Travel delays
  • Traffic
  • Weather conditions that do not result in an event cancellation by Cowabunga Camp
  • Forgotten reservations
  • No-shows
  • Late arrivals
  • Changes in personal circumstances
  • Failure to review event details or directions

Please ensure you are able to attend before completing your purchase.

Rescheduling Policy

While we cannot guarantee the ability to move reservations, we understand that plans can change and will do our best to accommodate requests when availability allows.

Rescheduling fees are as follows:

  • VIP Cowabunga Cabanas: $50 per reservation
  • Shaggy Cow Lounge Tickets: $10 per reservation/group

All reschedule requests must be submitted before your scheduled event time.

Rescheduled reservations are subject to available dates and times.

Please note that rescheduling is a courtesy, not a guarantee.

Same-Day Rescheduling

Because many of our experiences sell out, we often turn away other guests after reservations are booked.

For this reason, same-day rescheduling cannot be guaranteed.

If availability permits, same-day rescheduling may be offered for a $30 per group fee for Lounge reservations.

No-Show Policy

Guests who do not arrive for their scheduled reservation and do not contact us beforehand will be considered a no-show.

No-shows are not eligible for refunds, credits, or complimentary rescheduling.

Late Arrival Policy

Please arrive on time for your scheduled experience.

Because our events run on a schedule and involve animal interactions, late arrivals may miss portions of their experience.

We cannot guarantee additional time, refunds, credits, or partial refunds for guests who arrive late.

Ticket Transfer Policy

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your reservation to another guest.

Please email us prior to the event with the new guest's name so we can update our records.

Transferred reservations remain subject to all original booking policies.

Weather Policy

Our experiences take place on working farms, and weather conditions are part of the outdoor farm experience.

Light rain, cold temperatures, heat, mud, wind, and other typical weather conditions do not automatically result in cancellations.

If Cowabunga Camp and our farm partners determine that conditions are unsafe for guests, staff, or animals, we reserve the right to cancel, postpone, modify, or reschedule an event.

In the event that Cowabunga Camp cancels an experience due to weather or other safety concerns, guests may be offered one of the following at our discretion:

  • A full refund
  • A credit toward a future experience
  • A rescheduled date

Weather-related decisions are made solely by Cowabunga Camp and our farm partners. For the safety of our guests and animals, these decisions are final.

Animal Policy

Our animals are living creatures with unique personalities and behaviors.

While we strive to provide memorable interactions, we cannot guarantee:

  • Specific animal participation
  • Specific animal behaviors
  • Bottle feeding opportunities if animals are unavailable
  • The presence of particular animals on a given day

Animal welfare always comes first.

Bottle Feeding Policy

Bottle feeding experiences are offered at designated times based on the needs and feeding schedules of our baby animals.

Guests must arrive at the assigned bottle-feeding time. Due to the health and welfare of our animals, feeding times cannot be delayed for late arrivals.

If you miss your scheduled bottle-feeding time, your bottle-feeding experience will be forfeited and no refund, credit, or rescheduling will be provided.

Our staff will not withhold or delay feeding a baby animal if guests are late. The wellbeing of our animals always comes first.

Bottle feeding opportunities are also subject to animal availability and may occasionally be modified or unavailable due to the needs of the animals.

Farm Etiquette & Property Respect

Guests must remain in designated guest areas at all times.

Please do not enter neighboring properties, fenced areas, pastures, barns, or private spaces unless instructed by staff.

Failure to follow farm rules may result in removal from the property without refund.

Liability & Assumption of Risk

By attending, guests acknowledge that farms are inherently unpredictable environments.

Risks may include:

  • Uneven terrain
  • Mud
  • Animal interactions
  • Insect bites
  • Weather-related conditions

Guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in farm activities.

Policy Changes

Cowabunga Camp reserves the right to update these policies at any time without prior notice.

The policies in effect at the time of booking will govern your reservation.
